Just wanted to let you know you have some fans up way up here in northern Minnesota. A buddy of mine introduced us to pickled okra a few years ago, and now we are hooked. We would love to try the hot variety, but the stores up here only carry the mild. Keep up the good work.

I drove to 3 stores today, searching for pickled Okra. I am happy to report, the last store had Pickled Okra on the grocery shelf. The family gives Talk O' Texas Okra - 4 stars !.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I go to Terra Centre Elementary School. We had an assignment that was to write a business letter to a company that makes a product that we like, so I wrote to your company's Crisp Okra Pickles.

Pickled Okra is my favorite snack before dinner and lunch. They are so hot my taste buds can hardly feel anything and the spice makes me happy. When I eat one, I need more. It makes my mouth water. When I eat one jar, I definitely want more.

Sincerely,
Olivia

Dear Talk O' Texas,

I just wanted to let you know how awesome I think your pickled Okra is! Right now I'm suffering with a back injury and have been laid up for a while. But, even though money is tight my wife knows that she had better not come home from the grocery store without my Pickled Okra. I'm sure that they will have Pickled Okra in Heaven.

Yours In Christ,

Rev.Ashley

Although I live in Southern California, I was raised in Austin and my heart will forever be in Texas. The other day I happened upon a jar of your Okra Pickles in local supermarket. Quite frankly, I bought them because of the Texas emblem on the lable. After tasting them, however, it's the product that will bring me back. They are fantastic! And now both my heart AND stomach are back in the Lone Star State! Thanks, Talk O' Texas.

20 or so years ago my sister used to bring your pickles home from Florida when she lived there. For the past 10 years we haven't been able to get any close to the border. I found some jars recently when visiting Disney World and brought 6 jars home. I have missed them. We can't get them in Canada. Is there a way to have them shipped to me up here? When I was a kid my Dad and I could eat a jar each in one sitting.
Love them still.

My brother brought some of your mild pickled okra as part of his relish tray contribution to our Thanksgiving meal. He has brought them before, but this time I decided to try them. NOW, I buy them for myself. I love to just eat them out of the jar while playing on the computer. Thanks for making such a wonderful product.

Born and raised in Ector County, Tx. I have been eating your okra for many years. Without fail there is always a jar of Hot pickled Okra, in the fridge and that is what my kids go for first when they come over. My query is can you make the Hot, Hotter? We love hot stuff down here in Texas right? Thanks for being there.

I was born in Texas and raised on your Crisp Okra Pickles. Unfortunately, when I moved to California, I discover that my local grocery store doesn't carry your product. Today, I found talkotexas.com and ordered 16 jars! And I'll be ordering more for the Holidays. Thanks, Y'all.

I grew up in San Angelo, Texas. My sister worked for Shakey's Pizza, which is how we were first introduced to pickled okra. We moved to Georgia and were very happy to find pickled okra available here. I see the cheaper knock-off brands available, but won't touch them. By the way, my sister and I have converted many Georgians/Floridians to Talk o' Texas Pickled Okra!!!

Finally a good use for okra! Your pickles are terrific. I have introduced many
friends to your product and now they are hooked. They give a funny look when
I tell them "pickled okra" but as soon as they try one they are reaching for another.

Took some Hot Okra Pickles to my baby sister in Paris - she has been out of the south for 25 years. She said it was better than Champagne and Caviar.

My family and I tried some of your pickled okra while on vacation in the States.  We all loved it so much, we make sure to clear the grocery shelves of it whenever we go back. Everyone we know who has tried it here in Canada raves about it too.

Dear Talk O' Texas,

Several weeks ago I purchased a jar of your competitors brand of pickled okra because the store I shop offered a two for one deal.  Please except this letter of apology for straying.  The other brand was awful and I threw both jars out.  I have been a fan for many years of your hot pickled okra.  Especially being a Southerner and lived for a time in Chicago.

People should appreciate the simple things, and take the time to let those responsible know.

Thank you, and keep offering a great product,

Neil

Thanks so much for recognizing the letters of Mr. David's class.  My daughter, Corine, thinks she is an internet star now.  And she sure does love your pickled okra, so much so that she shared it with her Church School class, now everybody is buying your pickled okra.  Thanks again for bringing a smile to their little faces.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I teach fourth grade at ___________ Elementary School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our school is comprised mainly of students from a very low socioeconomic background. Many of my students have had few encounters with things outside their everyday life.
Each week I try to introduce them to something that many of the students have not been able to experience. Some of these experiences have included listening to a new type of music, reading an unusual style of literature, watching parts of a television travel show, and many other activities which will broaden the scope of their knowledge. Last month we tried your mild Crisp Okra Pickles.

I grew up eating pickled okra often. Therefore, I could not believe it when I found that none of my student's had ever tried it. The students were unsure of what to think at first. Some students stared at the okra for a minute of two. There were plenty of comments about "not wanting to eat anything that has more hair than me" and "it sure is slimy". I had to eat three or four before I could convince the kids to try them. However, the students finally tried the pickled okra and loved it. They were just disappointed that with 22 students in the class there were only enough in the jar for one each. They liked your product so much that they wanted to write and tell you all about it. Enclosed you will find the letters. Thank you for providing us with a great product to experience.

Sincerely,

Mr. David
4th Grade Teacher

Some of the letters from the Mr. David's Class:

Dear Talk O' Texas,

Today in class we tasted your wonderful and most tasty pickled okra. It was so tasty that I want to eat 999 billion of them, no 999 zillion, yeah that's right. You make the best of best pickled okra in the entire world, I like it more that any pickles in the whole world. And I hope you make them for your entire life.

Sincerely,
Anthony
Take care!! God Bless!! Help America!

Dear Talk O' Texas,

Your pickled okra rocks!!!!! There are 5 reasons I like your pickled okra. Because it tastes great. It also rocks because it's sour. It's also delicious. It's good and good for you. I love the flavor. Can you make new flavors?

Sincerely,
AJ
P.S. Did I mention they ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Talk O' Texas,

Today me and my class ate some of your Delicious wonderful pickled okra. Everyone enjoyed it. My favorite part about your pickled okra was the sour sweet taste. I wish I had fifty Big Jars of it. I think I can eat 1000,000 million jars of it, but I might be exaggerating. Today I will tell my family about your wonderful pickled okra. And how good it was. It tasted like a pickle but better. I would really enjoy trying your Spicy flavor, cause I love hot stuff. Did you know that my Mom was born in Texas?

Sincerely,
Danny

Dear Talk O' Texas,

Today at Centennial Elementary in Mr. David's 4th grade class we had the opportunity to taste your pickled okra. Here are three reasons I loved your Pickled okra. First the sour taste was excellent it make my mouth fell sour. Second the seeds where delicious they where chewy. Last of all the hairs where so good. It gave me the funny feeling in my mouth.

Sincerely,
Corine
(I can't wait to try the HOT flavor.)

Note from President and Staff to Mr. David's class:

We loved all of your letters! Thank you so much for taking the time to write us. It really made our day great to know that we are appreciated and able to bring some joy to others.

We were all at our desks quietly working when we heard laughter coming from the Presidents office. We didn't know why he was laughing, but it got louder and louder. It sounded like he was laughing so hard he was crying. Then one of us started laughing, then, another. Pretty soon we were all laughing and didn't know why until he brought in your letters and read them all out loud.

You are all little angels sent to earth to brighten our days. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all as you go through your school years. We hope you enjoy lots more okra pickles and say extra prayers for Mr. David and teachers like him.

I never liked the vegetable okra. But as I was shopping, I noticed your Okra Pickles on the shelf. I decided to try a jar of them and have been buying them regularly.

The first ones I tried were before Thanksgiving. I made sure they were on the table on that big Thanksgiving Day! Now my brother is buying them and I have interested two of my lady friends in them also. Please keep making them.

I find it necessary to write to you in praise of your product, "Crisp Okra Pickles"!  I made the mistake of assuming that all pickled okra was the same.  I found a less expensive brand at the new Super Wal-Mart nearby.  This will not happen again!
Thank you for such a delicious product that is always tasty and crisp!  I've recommended them to all my friends!

I have been using your liquid smoke product for about 2 years now. While I've used it for grilling meat, my main use of it is in the making of beef jerky. In the last two years I've made approx. 200 lbs. (finished weight!) of jerky. Everybody loves the flavor, which is mostly due to the liquid smoke. The only improvement you could make is to sell it in a larger container. I go through at least a case of the stuff every time I make jerky. Sending you the recipe and an order for 6 more cases!

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your crisp okra pickles, I always have a jar in the refrigerator.  They are so tasty.

I have to admit last week I bought another brand.  (It was less expensive.)  They were mushy and did not have the great flavor of your product.  I ate one and then threw the jar out.

Thanks for a super product.  Keep up the good work.

Hi. I just bought some Okra pickles (mild). I love okra... there's something about the texture.  Just wanted you to know that I think they're great! I can't wait to try the hot ones.

This is to inform you that my 2 year old grandson loves your okra pickles. He likes the mild and I like the hot, so I buy him 4 or 5 jars a month and if I don't get them for him he gets upset at the world. Thanks, Gale Beard

Dear Talk O' Texas, I wanted to let you know how much me and my family enjoy your okra pickles. We have tried different brands, but yours beats them all. You have a great product! Thanks so much for great pickles. We just wish we could get them in a bigger jar than 16 oz.
