July 23, 2009 Thank you so much for producing such a high quality product. I have fond memories of my grandmother picking 'hot okra' for us to enjoy. You take all the work out of the process for me and I can enjoy pickled okra anytime. Okra is always a staple on our 'relish tray' at holiday gatherings, BBQs and just general around-the-house pickle snacking. As a boy, I used to bring my grandfather a jar of Hot Pickled Okra when I would go to visit. Just this afternoon, I was surprised in the most pleasant of ways when I discovered those familiar jars sitting on a shelf at a store in Rockford, Illinois. I have been away from Texas for nearly three years now, and, honestly, I miss the food more than just about anything else. It's the little things, like your pickled okra, that keep this my cold, unfeeling heart from ceasing to beat altogether. The Mexican food may be pretty lousy up here, but if I can find me some Talk O' Texas, maybe things will be all right, after all.
