ON THE WEST COAST, WE DONT GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO EAT OKRA VERY OFTEN. OCCASIONALLY A SOUTHERN BBQ RESTAURANT WILL HAVE IT ON THE MENU. I HAD IT WHILE IN THE MILITARY IN VA. IN 1972. I FOUND IT IN A LOCAL STORE AND DECIDED TO TRY IT AGAIN AND I'M GLAD I DID!!! TOOK SOME TO WORK THE NEXT DAY AND MY CO-WORKERS ATE THEM ALL!!! GUESS I NEED TO GET A CASE OR TWO!!! I grew up in Dallas and was always a fan of your pickled okra. I would eat the whole jar, then blame it on my brother.I joined the navy and wasn't able to find them anywhere. People wouldn't even know what okra was. When I left the navy and moved to Iowa with my husband, I was flabbergasted when I found them at my local grocery store! I felt like a child again and bought out the shelf, in fear I would not see them again! My husband quickly became addicted. I had to hide jars from him because, well... I know the feeling of not being able to stop eating them :) !!! Now, every time a friend comes over I will share my indulgence with them. Every one of them gets hooked. Now I have to buy out the shelf again, because when I get there, they are half gone. I love your product and have since I was a child. I am 8 months pregnant and my future son loves them too. When I eat one you can see my stomach move vigorously! I am so glad you kept the same recipe and I love sharing your product with my friends. You are truly a life saver when it comes to quick, healthy snacks. Love you forever. Cheryl Barton

I recently ordered the mild and hot jars on-line to see what pickled okra was all about. I was very surprised that they tasted so good - crunchy with good flavor. I shared a jar with my coworkers and 9 out of 10 said they were excellent - even though who were skeptical about eating something green. Try them. You'll love them!
